As parents, we were frustrated with what the kids footwear market had to offer: either stiff, heavy shoes that gave little feet blisters, or cheap flimsy sneakers that tore apart after two weeks at the playground.

We believed that children deserve footwear as carefully engineered and fashionable as adult performance shoes — but infused with joyful colors, kinetic LED lights, and flexible soles that adapt to growing cartilage and bones.
